What we collect through this site and our enquiries, what we use it for, and how long we keep it.
1. Who we are
Local Solutions (registered in England & Wales, No. 01792921, registered office 212h Boaler Street, Liverpool, England, L6 6AE) is the controller for personal data collected through this website and our enquiry channels. Contact: services@local-solutions.org
2. What we collect
- Enquiry form data: your name, email address, city and area, the service you are asking about, and the message you write about your family and schedule.
- Email correspondence: the content of emails you send us, so we can answer and arrange services.
- Cookie preference: your accept/reject choice stored locally in your browser (see the Cookies page).
This site has no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. We do not buy or sell personal data.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and propose suitable care arrangements — based on the enquiry form data you submitted.
- To prepare agreements, schedules and carer proposals where you go ahead — to perform the service contract.
- To keep the records our business is required to keep.
4. Who sees it
Our coordination staff, and — only to the extent needed to propose a placement — the vetted carer candidates relevant to your enquiry. Carer candidates see your family profile after the needs consultation, not your full enquiry text.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become placements: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Active placements: schedule, checks and communication records for the duration of the arrangement plus the period our record-keeping obligations require.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also object to processing or complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise any right, email services@local-solutions.org
7. Children’s data
We ask for the minimum information about children needed to arrange safe care (ages, routines, languages, schedule). We do not publish children’s information anywhere, and photos of children are not required for an enquiry.
